Wide Shot: In this shot, the image of the protagonist (Tom Cruise) is trying to run away from the pursuers. We see this image of the car which looks worn-out and wrecked and it has been abandoned. this shows that it possibly has something to do with a fight scene that can potentially happen. There is also enough background to show that this is an alley way so it shows that it will be a narrow fight as alley ways are normally narrow so there is little space to run away so the protagonist will be forced to fight.
Medium Close Up: In this image we see the protagonists pursuers which appear to be dressed in a special futuristic suit which can imply that they are ready for a fight. Also it shows enough background to show that there are more than one pursuer which can highlight the fact that the protagonist is desperately needed to be captured alive or left for dead.
Close Up: In this image we see that the protagonist is captured and his facial expression can show that he is nervous about what is about to happen. This could show that he has to quickly react to what he can do. We needn't to see any background as he is trying to quickly think
